Kintyre is a gem of a place, aptly known as Scotland's mainland island, and has always been home for me. It is a small isthmus, only 8 miles at its widest point and 40 miles long, yet within this tiny area rich in history there is a vast diversity of landscape, wildlife and very often weather too!
